When I awoke to clicking sounds in my room, I was half awake thinking it was some sort of clock trying to click in my room. Little did I know it was the G3 Tower’s Main Drive over heating! When I tried to upload to the server, nothing happend, so I went to the Tower, moved the mouse, and the screen stayed black. I tried the restart button. Clicking ensues. “This can’t be good!” As it turns out, the main drive had over heated! It was time to move it!

The picture above shows where the drive WAS. It was trapped inside where a Zip drive could have been installed. The area trapped heat and overheated the drive to where the drive shut down! So next I let the drive cool for about a half hour. Then I connected it back to the tower to see if it was ok:

The drive was fine after cooling down. So now I had to find a new place for it that would be cooler. I decided to go for much cooler. I decided to build a KNEX structure to allow air on top and beneath the HD. Heres a picture of it before install:

And below are pictures of the drive in place with the new KNEX Structure. I decided to put it on top of the Zip Drive Bay.

There was one last problem. Would the door close on the G3 tower!? As it turns out, Its a VERY close fit. I used Night Vision to see into the dark computer as it closed. Here are some pictures peeking into the tower as the door closed.
